Mapping our Anzacs.

Between 2014 and 2018 Australia will be celebrating the Centenary of World War I. There is going to be various projects going on around Australia, to recognise these brave men and woman who fought bravely at Gallipoli and on the Western Front.

The National Archives of Australia, has bought together over 375,971 records . Mapping our Anzacs is a tool to browse records of service in the Australian Army during World War 1 according to the person's place of birth or enlistment.

This tool gives you a new way of seeing Australia's involvement in World War 1. Feel free to go online and look for your relative.

We have put together a list of men from the Eastern Goldfields Region of Western Australia who were either born or enlisted in towns, some of them Ghost Towns now.

A lot of Kalgoorlie/Boulder and our surrounding towns, men and women, enlisted at Blackboy Hill which is near Northam.

If you can't find your family member on the lists provided go to Mapping our Anzacs website to find your relative. Anyone who fought on the side of Australia, Britain and other Commonwealth Countries are on here. You can find them by either name or town.

Boulder enlistments and born recruits.
